UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE: TWO TEAMS THAT COULD SURPRISE US ALL IN CHAMPION THIS YEAR.

 The UEFA Champions League always has been a place for top clubs to compete, yet few mid-level teams surprise everyone. Certain teams always made the league like Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Bayern Munich. Soccer matches always come with surprise and the exciting part is that there may be a number of teams this year who could a run at it such as Croatia did in 2018.

  The first team on the list is Borussia Dortmund. The yellow shirt has always dominated the German league. From ferocious players like Robert Lewandowski to now Sebastian Haller, Dortmund has the ability to run a fastball that is unstoppable in the league.

    Players like Haller has gazelle-like capability which allows him to score from any difficult position.  Edin Terzić's coaching strategies, like counter-attack using his winger to run the ball down the corner post, stand his team out. Dortmund is full of young stars with the guidance of numerous powerful veterans.

    The second team that could be a surprise is AC Milan. After spending a few seasons as the king of Italy, Milan struggled to come on top and finished at the bottom of their group last season. Now Milan has a chance to relive the era of the incredible player Gennaro Gattuso. With the new squad, the Rossoneries have a strong case to make this season. Milan have a strong defensive side.

    Goalkeeper Mike Maignan has a grip of an eagle on the ball and his ability to predict the ball and fast reaction makes the Milan net almost impenetrable. The addition of World Champion attack Olivier Giroud. Giroud is one of the best strikers of his generation. He traumatized the French league defense with his right strikes. There is no surprise why he is the all-time highest goal scorer.

This might be the year where the paradigm of dominance in the Champions League changes. Many other teams have a chance to make their presence known and fans will always root for their clubs. Which teams do you think are going to be a surprise.
